From July 14th thru 18th I had the fortune to go to Treviso Italy as a guest of Pinarello and Gita Sporting Goods. While the main purpose of the trip was to see the 2012 Pinarello product line I also had numerous other unique experiences and opportunities which i have also included. While in Treviso I also had the opportunity to experience the hospitality of the Pinarello Family.  Click the pics on the left to see the full story and gallery.

On a sad note my condolences go out to the Pinarello Family for their recent unexpected loss of Andrea Pinarello.

On July 16, 2011 Pinarello invited approximately 400 people to their hometown of Treviso Italy for a presentation on the 2012 model line. For 2012 Pinarello has upgraded every carbon model in the line up. Included in this review is all the technical info about the models as well as pics of Campy electronic as well as Ultegra Di2.

While in Treviso to attend the 2012 showing Pinarello opened its factory/warehouse located in Pinarello's facility in Treviso for a visit.

Located a couple hours outside of Treviso in Bonferraro lies the Giordana Clothing Factory. Giordana was started by Gita Sporting goods owner Giorgio Andretta. (Gita is also the US importer for Pinarello) After a tour of the factory you can never look at Giordana clothing the same. A combination of mechanized and hand construction each garment goes thru the hands of dozens of individuals before hitting the rack in the bike shop.
